Dr. Shirnil Channappa received his undergraduate degree in Life Sciences from Pennsylvania State University in 1995. In May 2000, he graduated from the University of Alabama - Birmingham with his doctorate in Optometry. His interest in health-related fields and interacting with patients led him to Optometry. He enjoys helping his patients solve their eye care needs.
In his spare time, he enjoys reading, traveling, and solving puzzles.

I haven't been to an eye doctor in decades, so I went to this appointment with the expectations you'... Show Mored have going to any new medical-type facility. Before I could even finish the 3 short forms I was asked to complete, I was called back. AND, I wasn't called back so I could sit in the NEXT waiting room forever, I was promptly seen and walked through the steps. Additionally, the doctor and staff were friendly yet professional and efficient. It was the best med-related I've ever had! Highly recommend!!!

Dr. Drew and the staff are wonderful. Dr. Drew takes time with my father who has Alzheimer’s to e... Show Morensure his eyes are taken care of. He explains everything thoroughly to me and my father has a good time interacting with him.
